Residencies

The Wagon Box Foundation is offering residencies and fellowships for independent directed work in a wide spectrum of fields. The program is structured to arrange monthly cohorts of folks whose work will benefit from the camaraderie and atmosphere afforded by our cozy, wholesome mountain retreat. This program will be a unique engine for established writers, artists, philosophers, political theorists and builders to forge partnerships with rising talent, and foster cross-disciplinary relationships.

One goal of the residency program is to engender possibilities for an Archeo-Futurist Americana, artistically and practically, by fostering collaboration between those whose practices and life forms are rooted in the legacy of primitive American folk ways and builders at the forefront of technological innovation. This is an underexplored aesthetic and a necessary answer to the deep tension created by the challenges and advantages of the rapidly moving frontier of technological advance.

Apply as a Resident if you want to work on a project at a woodsy mountain retreat with other thoughtful folks, joining a creative parallel network project.

Apply as a Mentor if you are established in a field and can guide others, or are looking for thoughtful help developing certain ideas, themes, or artistic directions.

Apply as a Patron if you want to have a lasting influence on the direction and flourishing of ideas, art and agentive personal networks by investing in this project.

A limited number of Wagon Box Fellowships are available for prominent intellectuals, thought leaders, artists and builders to fortify new works and ideas.
